You have a super fast metabolism. You can eat junk food all the time but you don’t gain any weight. It’s hard for you to gain muscle no matter how hard you work out.
To gain size and strength, you need to do compound exercises such as the Squat, Bench Press, Deadlift. Stick to 6-8 reps per set. Eat in a caloric surplus – don’t be afraid to eat more carbs and calories than your body needs.
MESOMORPH 30% Protein 40% Carbs 30% Fats
It’s easy for you to gain muscle and lose weight quickly. You have an athletic build, broad shoulders like a running back or lineman in football.
You have a higher ratio of fast twitch muscles, so you can incorporate isolations in the lower rep range. Stick to 6-8 reps per set.
Eat in a caloric surplus – don’t be afraid to eat more carbs and calories than your body needs.
ENDOMORPH 35% Protein 25% Carbs 40% Fats
You have a shorter, more stocky build. You can gain weight and muscle fairly quickly, but you retain more fat than a mesomorph.
Hit the same body parts multiple times per week. Stay within 8-15 reps per set. Include some steady state cardio or high interval training (HIIT) on off days into your workout plan. Stay away from eating lots of carbohydrates.

Due to my own personal circumstances, I had to stop but ever since I returned in 2024, I’m just as impressed as I was when I first started.
Currently dealing with a football injury, but Shavaiz has been doing an amazing job to get me back on the field.
The thing to remember about coming to Strength-N-U is the responsibility of getting in shape or recovering from an injury is on you, the client. The staff there to work with you, not for you.
Coming to the classes is a commitment that you must commit yourself to, to see real results.
Recovery from anytime of injury isn’t just about coming in for the therapy to be done. You have to also do some of the exercises on your own time, in between sessions. The recovery is a daily process, not when you show up to SNU.
Keep all this in mind, trust the process and you will see the results.
Also, shout out to the staff as well. Shout out to Massey, the business or sales consultant. Takes my calls whenever and wherever, not to say you should call him at 2 am at night but he has great customer service. I've taken some classes and all were great. The classes with Kevin, farhad, brian, Paul, etc are all fantastic. Front desk is great too.
Also, shout out to the owner carlo as well. Overall strength n u has some of the friendliest people there. Always saying hi.







The instructors are very professional, attentive, patient, and knowledgeable.
Even in a group class, the trainer is so focused on every single one in the class giving them the needed help and instruction.
One just enjoy their family style environment. I would highly recommend this to anyone willing to start a fitness journey filled with endorphin surge, sense of accomplishment, and increased energy.

The group classes are great for any level of fitness unlike other places, they offer different options when it comes to their exercises. The instructors are high energy and are involved in the work outs as well. You can even see how much the instructors are sweating during the class lol
The music is always appropriate and match the style of the class, I've even seen them implement a DJ in some of their classes which brings the energy even that much higher!!
Im also impressed with the professionalism from the front desk staff. They greet members into the facility on a first name bases.
The therapy component is world class! I was able to book my appointments easily without any issues. All of the therapist and doctors are not only extremely educated and knowledgeable, but also fitness minded as I see them all the time working out and participating in the group classes as well.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is about begin a fitness or recovery journey!

After two hip replacements, I needed extra coaching, and Karissa and Josh were fantastic in targeting my recovery. Even if you can’t do all the moves, the coaches will suggest variations that work for you. People of all different levels come together here to get fit, become stronger, and prepare for their own Centenarian Decathlon (Peter Attia). We are getting fit to be strong for our later years.

As soft as his hands are, if you need that extra pressure to get into those tightened knots, don't be afraid to ask. I went from seeing Mitchel every weekend to every other weekend, with little to no pain. Thank you Mitchel for making my chiropractic treatment journey a positive one. Yes I will be back for the gym part of my treatment.








After so many months of frustration it’s nothing short of miraculous that I have mobility, ever increasing strength and I am no longer enduring constant pain. Can’t thank Dr Mitch enough for his encouragement, patience and most importantly the results!!

I woke up in the middle of the night with a sharp, excruciating pain in my back, behind the shoulder blade. I couldn't move, I couldn't even breathe. Early in the morning I contacted Melissa and soon enough after 1 p.m I was leaving my happy place( Strength N U) as a brand new person.

My rehab with them has improved my running significantly. I did a fitness test last week and i beat my personal record by 0.5 miles. The rehab plan Clay has me on has help me build muscle in areas i needed to prevent further injury to my hip and lower back.
I wish i can gate keep both of them (LMAO)bc getting in their calendar can be challenging at times bc they are BOTH just that GOOD and AMAZING at what they do!! However i am doing no one any favour if i do bc you should honestly seem them if u have an ongoing injury that is hindering you to get to ur next level.. They are both super knowledgeable and has the "we'll make u better than ever" attitude like no other... Clay will make u work.. but its all for ur own long term benefit... i always say.. trust the process...
Their front desk are simply fabulous, lovely and welcoming... they get to know you and welcomes you every time like you're part of the crew.. always such a happy place full of laughter.. you will never leave this place in a bad mood..
